An earthquake of magnitude 5.3 hit the province of Kahramanmaras in Turkey <a rel="nofollow" href="https://ria.ru/20230323/zemletryasenie-1860017841.html">writes</a> with reference to the Office for the Elimination of Natural Disasters (AFAD) RIA Novosti.   

Tremors were recorded at 12:19 (the time coincides with Moscow) in the area of ​​​​the settlement of Goksyun, the department said. There are no reports of casualties or damage yet.

Recall that a devastating earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 occurred near the city of Gaziantep with a population of more than 1 million people in southern Turkey early in the morning on February 6, the epicenter was 37 km from the village at a depth of 10 km. More than 50,000 people died as a result of the storm. Hundreds of thousands of people in Turkey and Syria were left homeless.
