Five youths who went to bathe in the Krishna Nagar pond of Botad city have died due to drowning. Two youths were taking bath in this pond, while they started drowning, three other youths jumped into the pond to save them. In an attempt to save both, all five youths have died due to drowning in the pond. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the convoy of provincial officials and police reached the spot. All these youths are said to be residents of Ashok Vatika, Paliad Road, Botad city.

According to the information received from the sources, the fire department team reached the spot and started the rescue operation. Then after an effort of one and a half hours, the dead bodies of the five youths were taken out. According to preliminary information, all the deceased are residents of Botad. As soon as the incident was reported, the fire department and the police team reached the spot and started the investigation. Due to this incident in Krishna Sagar pond, sensation has spread in the entire area. There is only talk of this incident everywhere. As soon as the incident was known, the family members reached the spot and started mourning. The police have taken all the dead bodies into custody and started the process including the final test.
The incident of drowning of five youths in the pond near Sethli village of the district has come to light. The deceased include Ahmed alias Bhavesh Wadhwania, Ashraf alias Rumit Wadhwania, Junaid Altafbhai Qazi, Asad Arif Khambati and Faizan Nazirbhai Ganja.
