Ahmedabad: Mahathug Kiran Patel produced in Metro Court, court orders to send him to judicial custody

The remand of thug Kiran Patel was completed and he was produced in the Metro Court. The Metro Court had ordered Kiran Patel to be sent to judicial custody. Accused Kiran Patel had applied for bail in the court after the court ordered him to be sent to jail. Kiran Patel was presented in the court in the Narol land fraud case. The regular bail application of Kiran Patel will be heard in the Metro Court on Tuesday.

Kiran Patel, who was caught in Kashmir, had allegedly defrauded Rs 80 lakh in a land deal in 2017 as a PMO official. After being produced in the court, the remand was approved. After completion of the remand, he was again produced in the court on Friday. In which the Metro Court has ordered to send him to judicial custody.

80 lakh rupees was cheated

A developer in Ahmedabad South Bopal lodged a complaint with the city’s crime branch alleging that Kiran Patel, who was arrested in Kashmir, allegedly defrauded him of Rs 80 lakh in a land deal in 2017 as a PMO official. The complainant Upendrasinh Chavda (36), resident of Shashwat Apartment) has said in his FIR that he met Patel in 2016 when he had gone to Sabarmati Central Jail to meet a friend named Salim Khoja.

Kiran Patel demanded some money from Upendra Chavda in 2017

When Salim Khoja was released, he reintroduced Upendra Chavda to Kiran Patel. Patel then told Chavda that he was in the business of tobacco cultivation. In March 2017, Kiran Patel demanded some money from Upendra Chavda, which he refused. Kiran Patel later went to Chavda’s house in South Bopal and told him that he had 1,867 square meters of land in Narol. Kiran Patel took Chavda to Narol to show him the land. When Upendra Chavda inquired about the plot, he was convinced that it belonged to Kiran Patel.
