Vehicle theft crimes are increasing in Ahmedabad. Gangs from outside the state are carrying out incidents of vehicle theft. Meanwhile, police in the city have succeeded in solving more than 21 crimes besides seizing 13 vehicles by arresting two members of the Larathi raider gang who were involved in vehicle theft.

This gang used to steal sports bikes

According to the information received, more cases of vehicle theft are coming to the fore in Gujarat. In which the police had received information about the gang stealing especially expensive sports bikes. After this the police started action against such gangs. The Ahmedabad City Crime Branch has arrested two people for stealing a sports bike. Crime Branch officials arrested the accused from near Saurashtra Patel Girls Hostel in Memnagar area.

During interrogation of the accused, it was revealed that they used to work at the sites of Kadiyakaam and Senting in the morning and used to assemble at a certain place at night and used to target places where there was no movement of human beings and steal sports bikes by breaking locks. Used to take Ashish Meena, Ankit Ahari have been arrested among the accused caught by the police. These accused along with their friends and relatives Avinash Shankar Ahare, Sudhir Nanoma, Rahul Damor, Prakash Amra, Lalit Roat and Rajkumar Khokharia, Rahul Kharadi, Prakash Bodat, Rahul Meena and Manish Meena used to execute the crime.

A total of 8.70 lakh issue goods have been seized

Police seized 13 vehicles including Yamaha, Pulsar, Yamaha FZ, TVS Apache, Deluxe motorcycle and seized a total of Rs 8.70 lakh. Apart from this, 21 cases of theft in Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Nana Chiloda, Himmatnagar, Sardarnagar, Naroda, Ranip, Chandkheda, Sabarmati and other areas have been solved during interrogation of the accused.
