Air alert in several regions of Ukraine

An air raid alert was announced on the territory of several regions of Ukraine. This is evidenced by the data of the official resource for alerting citizens on Tuesday, February 28.

Alarms work in Poltava, Sumy and Chernihiv regions. Also, according to the publication “Strana.ua”, the explosion occurred on the left bank of the Dnieper in Kyiv. At the same time, the sirens in the city do not sound at the moment.

Earlier that day, an air raid alert was announced in the Rivne and Volyn regions of Ukraine. Also, the head of the Ternopil regional administration Vladimir Trush warned about the air raid.

Alarms were also reported in the Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava and Kharkiv regions.

On February 27, Volodymyr Rogov, chairman of the We Are Together with Russia movement, said that a series of explosions had been heard at night in Kyiv-controlled Zaporozhye. According to him, there were at least three explosions that were heard in all parts of the city.

At the same time, an air raid alert was announced in the central and eastern parts of Ukraine. Explosions were also reported in Kyiv, the Zhytomyr region and the city of Khmelnitsky. In a number of regions, air defense systems (air defense) worked.

There has been no official information from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation about strikes against these territories.
