Air India will appoint more than one thousand pilots

New Delhi, 27 April (Hindustan Times). Tata group-led airline Air India (AI) will hire over a thousand pilots to expand its fleet and network. In addition to senior pilots, trainee pilots will also be involved.

Air India has released an advertisement on Thursday, according to which the airline company is now recruiting more than one thousand pilots. The company said that more than 500 aircraft are joining the Air India fleet. Air India has placed orders for 470 aircraft with Boeing and Airbus this year. These include large size aircraft as well.

It is noteworthy that in January 2022, the Tata Group had acquired the public sector airline company Air India. The company currently has over 1,800 pilots. Air India airline had on April 17 introduced a new pay structure for its pilots and crew members.
