Valsad. State Vice President of All India Consumer Upliftment Organization Vijaykumar Goyal has written a letter to Valsad Municipal Administration and Sub Divisional Magistrate requesting immediate resolution of the problems prevailing in Valsad city. He has written a letter saying that Morarjibhai Desai Vegetable Market and Shopping Center is in the heart of Valsad city, which has been named after former Prime Minister of India and Bharat Ratna Morarji Desai. The people of Valsad visit in large numbers to buy vegetables, but women and elderly people keep falling due to the filth and pathetic condition of the stairs at the entrance of the market, which has been sought to be rectified in the letter.
On the other hand, the entrance of Ambedkar Shopping Center (Opposite Revaben Patel’s shop) in Valsad is closed for vehicles and requested to be opened permanently and cleaned. While parking arrangements have been made all over Valsad city but most of them are unsightly jammed by lorries, gallas and beds by corrupt elements, which has been requested to be opened. On the other hand, parking arrangements for the customers and patients of Amit Hospital and State Bank of India, in front of Awan Bai School, in front of Awan Bai School, on the link road behind Bhidbhanjan Temple in Tower Extension, located at a 5-minute walking distance from Valsad Vegetable Market. Illegal encroachment has been done, which is requested to be kept open for parking.
Due to lack of cleanliness in many places in Valsad city, filth spreads everywhere, which has been asked to be taken into consideration. Apart from this, keeping in view the coming monsoon, it has been requested to conduct pre-monsoon operations on time. The situation worsened in many areas due to lack of monsoon operation last year. Due to lack of repair at many places in Valsad city, there have been potholes on the roads.
