There was a sharp explosion due to a machinery problem at South Fork Dairy in Dimmit City, Texas Province. There was a huge fire due to the explosion. 18 thousand cows died due to explosion and fire. During this, one person was also seriously injured there. The fire brigade team reached the spot and after a lot of effort, brought the fire under control. After this, the person trapped in the farm was rescued and taken to the hospital. Some cows present in the farm have also been rescued after the accident.

Police officer Sal Rivera suspected that the accident was caused by a machine overheating. The machine may have overheated due to excessive use. After this methane gas started coming out. This caused an explosion and the fodder for the cows must have caught fire. County Judge Mandy Geffler said the cows were herded into a pen waiting to be milked when the explosion occurred. In view of the safety of the people, the road leading to the dairy farm has been closed. Dimmit Mayor Roger Malone said the incident was heartbreaking. He has said to get the matter investigated.
