Bhopal, May 10 (Hindustan Times). A major module of terrorist conspiracy has been unearthed in Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh and Telangana ATS have arrested 16 people linked to radical Islamic outfit Hizb-ut-Tahrir (HUT) from capital Bhopal, Chhindwara and Hyderabad. Of these, 10 were arrested from Bhopal, one from Chhindwara and five from Hyderabad. Further interrogation is being done by taking the arrested accused on remand. At the same time, the suspected terrorists arrested from Hyderabad are being brought to Bhopal. This information was given by Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra on Wednesday.
ATS raided Bhopal and Chhindwara on Tuesday morning and arrested 11 people from both the places. Evidence has been found of their association with the radical Islamic organization Hizb-ut-Tahrir. At the same time, five members of HUT have been arrested from Hyderabad. A relative of the Bhopal gas tragedy activist is also among those arrested. A huge quantity of technical equipment, anti-national and jihadi literature, explosive making literature and material and digital documents have been recovered from the accused.
Home Minister Dr. Mishra told that 11 people associated with Hibz-ut-Tahrir arrested from Bhopal are being interrogated on remand. At the same time, five other people of the organization arrested from Hyderabad are being brought to Bhopal. The arrested accused used to undergo arms training in the forests of Raisen. At the same time, the funding being done to the members of the organization is being investigated. A case has been registered against the arrested accused under UAPA and other sections.
ATS has arrested Bhopal’s Yasir Khan, Syed Sami Rizvi, Shahrukh, Misbah, Shahid, Syed Danish Ali, Mehraj, Khalid Hasan, Wasim Khan, Mohd. Mohd Salim, Abdur Rehman, Mohd Abbas Ali, Sheikh Junaid, Mohd Hameed from Hyderabad have been arrested along with Alam and Abdul Karim from Chhindwara. The 10 accused arrested from Bhopal have been handed over to police remand till May 19. The arrested accused were involved in anti-national conspiracies by mingling with people in the form of gym trainer, computer technician, tailor, auto driver. An accused arrested from Bhopal used to run a coaching center in Kohefiz by the name of Eduforum Tutorials. The members of the organization were in the process of carrying out some big conspiracy by doing Reiki with the drone camera.
The accused, who were caught by the ATS, used to practice shooting secretly in the Close Combat Training Camp in Raisen forests adjacent to Bhopal. In the training camp located in the middle of the jungles, the active members of the organization from Hyderabad used to train the members of the camp in handling weapons. Along with this, the members of the organization used to distribute Jihadi literature among the people by holding religious gatherings through provocative speeches. Along with this, the members associated with the organization used to identify such youths, who are of fierce nature and have no hesitation in giving their lives for the organization. All the accused used to communicate with each other using various communication apps like ‘Rocket Chat’, ‘Shrima’ and other apps prevalent in the dark web, which are mostly used by terrorist organizations like ‘ISIS’.
Home Minister Dr. Mishra said that objectionable literature has also been recovered from the members of HUT caught by ATS. Input was being received in this regard for a long time, after which this action was taken. This organization believes in going to any extent and resorting to violence to enforce Sharia law.
