Bihar: Truck rams into Saran police vehicle in Lakhisarai, two prisoners and 5 policemen injured

Policemen and prisoners became victims of a road accident in Lakhisarai, Bihar. The truck rammed the Saran police vehicle carrying the prisoner from Lakhisarai jail. 7 people were injured in this road accident. The injured include 5 policemen while two prisoners. Saran police was going from Lakhisarai with both the prisoners. Suddenly all the people became victims of the accident on the way. This incident happened on Wednesday near Naya Bazar Pachna Mod Bypass Road.

A prisoner carrying two prisoners from Lakhisarai Jail to Saran Chhapra fell victim to a vehicle accident on Wednesday near the city’s Naya Bazar Pachna Mod bypass road. Both the prisoners in the prisoner vehicle, five policemen including one SI were seriously injured. All the policemen injured in the accident including the prisoner were brought to Sadar Hospital for treatment in a private vehicle where all are being treated in the emergency ward.

The incident is said to have happened after a direct collision of the prisoner vehicle with the truck coming from the opposite direction during the ascent on the overbridge from the bypass turn towards Ashok Dham. According to the information, on Wednesday morning, two prisoners lodged in Lakhisarai Jail, Kundan Yadav, son of Munger resident Dinesh Yadav and Sujit Kumar, son of Naval Yadav, were arrested under the leadership of SI Creature Moti Chandra, along with four other policemen including Havaldar Jitan Singh, Constable Alok Kumar, Lalit Vijay Kumar. And Deepak Kumar is included.

It is being told that in connection with the Chhapra robbery, both these prisoners were imprisoned in Lakhisarai Mandal Jail for one month. The Saran police team was going to Chhapra from Mandal Jail Lakhisarai. During this the accident happened.
