On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti and the 44th foundation day of the party, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke virtually to BJP workers and leaders. He said that India’s development journey is inspired by the life of Lord Hanuman and BJP works with the same inspiration. He said that people have already started saying that there is no one to defeat the party in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Attack on opposition parties
Attacking the opposition parties, Modi said the BJP becomes more determined when it comes to corruption, nepotism and law and order, just like Hanuman ji faced the demons. He also advised the party workers to work on the vision of a developed India on the two important milestones of 50 years of BJP and 100 years of the country’s independence in 2047.
Merely winning hearts is not enough: PM Modi
The Prime Minister said that despite the BJP being the largest party in the world, party workers should not become overconfident and should not limit themselves only to winning elections, but should also win the hearts of citizens. Modi also referred to the achievements of the Centre, saying that the BJP was born from the womb of democracy and nourished by the nectar of democracy and is now working day and night to strengthen democracy and the Constitution.
