A Facebook page named ‘Nagorik TV’, which also runs a channel on YouTube is an extortion and blackmailing machine, which is directly run under command of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP)’s mini-boss and convicted fugitive Tarique Rahman.
According to credible source, sitting in the United Kingdom, Tarique Rahman has established a huge gang of extortionists, blackmailers, terrorists, criminals and terror-funders. Amongst them, there are several sacked military officers, who already are declared persona non grata in garrison areas in Bangladesh. Amongst these culprits, Zulkarnain Saer Sami alias Chhintaikari (snatcher) Sami has been made a covert team member of ‘Nagorik TV’. At the instructions of Tarique Rahman, Zulkarnain Saer Sami alias Chhintaikari Sami has been continuing defending and even abetting criminal activities of ‘Nagorik TV’.
Sami was arrested on July 21, 2006 as a criminal case was lodged against him with Kafrul Police Station in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The case number 43 was lodged under Section 140, 170, 171, 419, 435, 467, 469 and 472 of the Bangladesh Penal Code. In the case document, Zulkarnain Saer Khan Sami’s name is mentioned as Tanvir Md. Sadat Khan, son of Abdul Baset Khan of Ward number 3, Rahmatput Residential Area, Notun Bazar, Chandpur, Bangladesh and Dhaka address: Sukhon, Block A, Road 2, Plot 20, Banasree Residential Area, Khilgaon, Dhaka. Following arrest, Zulkarnain Saer Sami alias Tanvir Md. Sadat Khan admitted his crime of pretending as an officer of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and cheating and blackmailing several individuals and business establishments. It is stated in the case document that prior to his arrest, Zulkarnain Saer Khan Sami alias Tanvir Md. Sadat Khan tried to skip arrest.

Despite the fact that father’s name of Zulkarnain Saer Khan Sami alias Tanvir Md. Sadat is Mohammed Abdul Baset Khan. But in his passports Sami has on-purpose changed his father’s name to “Colonel Wasit Khan” with the ulterior motive of dodging law enforcing agencies from getting hold of his criminal records.
On May 20, 2022, Zulkarnain Saer Khan Sami alias Tanvir Md. Sadat established a company named ‘SAMS INC LTD’ in the United Kingdom. Company number 13411356. Proposed registered office address of this company is: Kemp House, 160 City Road, London, United Kingdom EC1V 2NX. Main reason behind establishment of ‘SAMS INC LTD’ is to shift his illegal activities, such as drug trafficking, money-laundering and maintaining connections with various terrorist outfits from Hungary to the United Kingdom.
According to Bangladesh Army, Zulkarnain Saer Khan is an ex-cadet expelled from Bangladesh Military Academy on charges of drug addiction.
Recently at the instructions of Tarique Rahman, a leader of BNP named Jacob Milton in the US has lodged a theft and sexual harassment case against an anti-Bangladesh cyber terrorist named Elias Hossain and got him arrested by the New York Police Department (NYPD) on November 7, 2022. Although Elias Hossain has been running vile propaganda against Bangladesh and ruling Awami League for years as being a staunch supporter of Bangladesh Nationalist Party and Jamaat-e-Islami, he suddenly fell under the wrath of Tarique Rahman when he exposed an attempt of blackmailing and extortion of ‘Nagorik TV’ gang.

It may be mentioned here that, Nazmus Saquib and Tito Rahman of ‘Nagorik TV’ demanded sixty million takas from a leading business conglomerate in Bangladesh through blackmailing. It is learnt, Saquib and Tito of ‘Nagorik TV’ provided names and details of several individuals and an entity to the local business conglomerate for making payment of demanded extortion amount. They asked the business conglomerate to pay BDT 4 million to an individual named Mizan (mobile number 0171-4045224); BDT 2 million to ASM Shafiul Haque, Account number 1101008272001, Routing 225275357, City Bank Limited, Principal branch, Dhaka, Bangladesh; BDT 2 million to ASM Shafiqul Haque, Account number 0012100211294, Routing 250272325, Uttara Bank Limited, Foreign Exchange Branch, Dilkusha, Dhaka; and BDT 2 million to Common Hardware & Interior Solution, Account number 20506030100006204, Routing 125300522, Islami Bank BD Limited, Hospital Moor Branch, Feni, Bangladesh.
It is further learnt that Nazmus Saquib and Tito Rahman of ‘Nagorik TV’ crime racket, sitting in the United States and Canada have been continuing similar blackmailing and extortion. BNP’s mini-boss Tarique Rahman gets major portion of such extorted amount. The remaining balance is shared amongst Tito Rahman, Nazmus Saquib and Zulkarnain Saer Sami alias Chhintaikari (snatcher) Sami.
According to mass-media circle in Bangladesh, Tito Rahman alias Mustafizur Rahman Tito alias Tito hails from Itgaon residential area in Dinajpur district in Bangladesh. He is one of the prime accused in the serial bomb blast case of August 17, 2005. Notorious jihadist outfit Jamaatul Mujahedin Bangladesh (JMB), which later rebranded as Ansar Al Islam by becoming franchise of Al Qaeda was behind this series bomb blasts. Tito Rahman is a member of Ansar Al Islam and key accomplice of BNP’s fugitive mini-boss Tarique Rahman and kingpin of Harkatul Jihad, Maulana Abdus Salam. It may be mentioned here that, Tarique Rahman assigned Harkatul Jihad for launching grenade attack on a rally of Awami League on August 21, 2005 with the nefarious agenda of assassinating Sheikh Hasina.

According to a media note issued by the US Embassy in Bangladesh, the US authorities have announced reward of US$5 million for information on the fugitive kingpins of Ansar Al Islam.
Tito Rahman alias Mustafizur Rahman Tito alias Tito lives in Canada as a refugee and works in a factory as laborer. He resides in an apartment allocated by the Canadian government for the workers of various industrial projects. To hide his real identity of being an active member of Jamaatul Mujahedin Bangladesh, which is now named as Ansar Al Islam, Tito Rahman has taken the disguise of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the illegal Nagorik TV. For the past several years, a jihadist Tito Rahman has been running pro-militancy and anti-Bangladesh propaganda through YouTube and Facebook and has been promoting anti-Bangladesh and pro-militancy individuals as well as convicted criminals, including criminals wanted by INTERPOL.
