Ranchi : Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has recently released the calendar of all the examinations to be conducted by JSSC. In this notification was issued for the possible dates of all the upcoming examinations including CGL, PGT. Of all these, the maximum number of students preparing for CGL is there. JSSC had released the application for the appointment of 957 posts.
Last year, Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission had released vacancies for 956 posts under Graduate Level Competitive Examination. There were posts of Assistant Branch Officer, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Block Supply Officer and Planning Assistant. This exam was to be conducted in 1 phase. After this, the process of certificate verification would take place. Then the merit list of the finally selected students would be released.

1. Assistant Branch Officer –
Assistant Branch Officers work under the Personnel, Administrative and Official Language Department of the State Government. In this, the selected people have to work in the secretariat building of Ranchi. If we talk about its pay scale, then it comes in level 7. Its basic salary starts from 49900 rupees.
2. Block Supply Officer-
Block Supply Officer works under the Food Supply, Public Distribution and Consumer Department of the State Government. In this, the selected candidates have to work under the supervision of BDO in different blocks of the state. All the responsibility of distribution of ration in the block rests on their shoulders. If we talk about its pay scale, then it comes in level 6. Its basic salary starts from Rs.35400.
3. Planning Assistant-
Planning Assistant has to work under the Urban Development Department of the Government of Jharkhand. Candidates selected in this may have to do less work in any city of the state. The responsibility of infrastructure development in the city rests on their shoulders. Talking about its pay scale, it comes in level 5. Its basic salary is Rs.29200.
4. Junior Secretariat Assistant-
Junior Secretariat Assistant also has to work under the Personnel, Administrative and Official Language Department of the Government of Jharkhand. The candidates selected in this help in the work of the Assistant Branch Officer. On the other hand, if we talk about its pay scale, then it comes in Level 2. Its basic salary is Rs 19900.
