Construction of Ganga Path in Patna will ease traffic, CM Nitish Kumar instructed to complete it soon

Patna. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday reviewed the remaining construction work of JP Ganga Path project and directed the officials to complete the construction work expeditiously. The Chief Minister visited Khajekalan Ghat and Kangan Ghat and saw the construction work of Ganga Path. He also inquired about the construction works of link paths of JP Ganga Path. Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav was also present along with the Chief Minister. During the inspection, Additional Chief Secretary of Road Construction Department Pratyay Amrit informed the Chief Minister regarding the progress of the remaining construction work of JP Ganga Path.

CM instructed to complete the construction soon

During the inspection, the Chief Minister said that after the completion of the construction work of JP Ganga Path, the movement of people of many routes will be easier. The contact of the people coming out of Patna will also become easier. The Chief Minister directed the officials to complete this project at the earliest. Whatever else is needed for this will be made available.

Will get rid of jam, time will be saved

Please inform that with the construction of JP Ganga Path, people will take about 20 to 25 minutes to travel from Gaighat to Digha. With the preparation of an alternative route, people will get relief from the problem of jam in Ashok Rajpath while coming and going from Gandhi Maidan to Gaighat. With the completion of this construction, people’s time will also be saved a lot. On completion of JP Gangapath till Gaighat, there will be facility of commuting up to 12.5 kms. Presently there is facility of commuting from Digha to PMCH in 7.7 kms.

During the inspection of CM Nitish Kumar, Finance Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Deepak Kumar, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Dr. S. Siddhartha, Secretary Anupam Kumar and OSD Gopal Singh and other senior officers and engineers were also present.
