Delhi’s air quality recorded in moderate category

It was a warm morning in the national capital on Tuesday as the minimum temperature was recorded at 17.5 degrees Celsius. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) gave this information.

According to IMD, the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 34 degree Celsius. The relative humidity was recorded at 8.30 am at 81 per cent.

According to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting Research (SAFAR) data, the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi was in the moderate category (150) at around 9 am.

Significantly, an AQI between 0 and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 and 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 and 200 ‘moderate’, 201 and 300 ‘poor’, 301 and 400 ‘very poor’ and Between 401 and 500 is considered ‘severe’.
