Anti-Trump media in the West must be feeling charmed at the Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham’s opposition to #Obamagate investigation.
President Donald Trump has rightly said that former US president Barack Hussain Obama acted illegally when the Justice Department began a so-called probe into General Michael Flynn in 2016. There actually should be an investigation into the activities of Barack Obama and those senior officials, who have, in the name of investigating Donald Trump had wasted millions of tax payer’s monies as well as valuable time of the entire administration, including several key intelligence officials.
Trump’s Senate allies on Monday stopped short of echoing Trump’s claim that Obama acted illegally when the Justice Department began probing incoming national security adviser Michael Flynn in late 2016. And they indicated that the Senate would pass on investigating the former president as they conduct their own investigations that could soon ensnare other senior Obama administration officials.
At the personal request of the Clintons, and especially Hillary Clinton, the former US president felt obliged in making every possible effort in stopping Donald Trump from winning the 2016 election and then getting him impeached. The entire actions of Obama and his cronies were directed at publicly humiliating President Trump and a few key-figures in his administration, thus finally paving the path for the wrongful impeachment of Donald Trump.
Even after every effort of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and their Democratic cronies fell flat, the former president has expressed his disquiet at the Justice Department dropping “charges” against former national security adviser Michael Flynn. Obama and his cohorts also have described President Trump’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic as “an absolute chaotic disaster”.
Recently, in a tweet, President Donald Trump said, “Barack Hussain Obama is the first Ex-President to ever speak against his successor, which was long tradition of decorum and decency.” Trump added: “He got caught, OBAMAGATE!”
President Trump also retweeted Buck Sexton, a podcaster who made wild assertion stating that “the outgoing president used his last weeks in office to target incoming officials and sabotage the new administration”. The president then added his own commentary: “The biggest political crime in American history, by far!”
There is no doubt about the Barack Obama administration’s attempt of taking down President Trump. Such acts are certainly high-treason.
Furthermore, it should be mentioned here that the nefarious attempt of blackmailing President Trump and his administration in the name of investigating ties between Russia and Trump campaign was initiated by former president Barack Hussain Obama and enthusiastically pushed forwards by his administration at the instigation of Hillary Clinton and the Democratic clan.
General Flynn was a victim of the dirty-cops as then DBI director of counterintelligence in a note said: “What’s our goal? Truth/Admission or to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired?”
The controversial Pulitzer Prize
“When are the Fake Journalists,” Trump wrote on Sunday, “who received unwarranted Pulitzer Prizes for Russia, Russia, Russia, and the Impeachment Scam, going to turn in their tarnished awards so they can be given to the real journalists who got it right”.
“THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE. Sadly, our Lamestream Media is TOTALLY CORRUPT!”, he wrote again on Monday. “OBAMAGATE makes Watergate look small time!” – one more tweet. The implication is clear – the much-hyped Pulitzer Award for Journalism is only a ‘hype’ and need not be all virtuous. In Indian context as well, it was reported recently how an old anti-India ploy was at play.
Why the Pulitzer Prize went mad against President Trump? As we know, in 2019, a New York Times team won a Pulitzer for an “exhaustive 18-month investigation of President Donald Trump’s finances that debunked his claims of self-made wealth and revealed a business empire riddled with tax dodges”.
The Wall Street Journal’ was also rewarded for “uncovering President Trump’s secret payoffs to two women during his campaign who claimed to have had affairs with him, and the web of supporters who facilitated the transactions, triggering criminal inquiries and calls for impeachment”.
In 2018 also – the Pulitzer committee did, awarding its prize for national reporting jointly to the ‘Washington Post’ and the ‘New York Times’ for “deeply sourced, relentlessly reported coverage in the public interest that dramatically furthered the nation’s understanding of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and its connections to the Trump campaign, the president-elect’s transition team, and his eventual administration”.
One may ask – what made the Pulitzer Prize team in burning all of its energies in giving away the prize to Donald Trump’s critics as well as enemies of the Republican Party? Was there are any secret hand of Iran, Qatar, or the crook Hillary Clinton and her cronies behind these ill-motivated efforts?
