March 2 – BLiTZ. The nuclear test-ban treaty (CTBT) is beginning to raise concerns about the actions of the United States. If official Washington goes to conduct tests, then the Russian Federation will be forced to show an adequate response. This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.

According to him, the Treaty has been in existence for more than 25 years, but it has come into effect because of the United States, which does not ratify it and is in the mood to resume the test.

The State Department said that Washington has nothing to announce about possible contacts with the Russian delegation in Geneva March 2, 2023 at 00:16

“If the United States nevertheless decides to take such a step and be the first to conduct nuclear tests, we will be forced to respond adequately. No one should have dangerous illusions that global strategic parity can be destroyed,” Ryabkov stressed.
