Although physical activity is good for health, some categories of people should exercise with caution. These people include those who are overweight. This was announced by the instructor of the cardiorehabilitation center Kirill Antonov, reports Gazeta.Ru.
Big weight creates additional risks for those who want to increase their physical endurance. Sports are already stressful for the body, and with increased body weight, it will give an additional bad load on the heart, the expert emphasized.
According to him, people with cardiovascular diseases are advised by doctors to exercise caution when exercising. Although they improve blood flow and strengthen the heart muscle, they also provoke a pressure surge. For “cores” this can be dangerous, Antonov noted.
Also, sports threaten the integrity of the joints. Especially running becomes dangerous for people with increased body weight. During this sport, the pressure on the joints increases many times over. Therefore, the specialist advised to choose a practice that is more sparing for the joints – swimming or aerobics are also great as physical activity, he summed up.
