For the last few days, Dominica’s Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit, with the active collaboration of the members of his criminal clan in London are publishing false and fabricated ‘news’ against internationally acclaimed multi-award-winning anti-jihadist and editor of Blitz, Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury in a dubious website, which falsely claims to be representing the people of the Caribbean island.
WIC News (read wicked news) on its website says “We bring you reliable news for the entire Caribbean region using a network of experienced reporters, covering major breaking news and keeping you in-the-know as stories develop. And with journalists and commentators based overseas, WIC News delivers international stories that are shaping the global agenda”.
Network of experienced reporters? We shall expose the identities of people involved in the dubious website in this report.
WIC News is operated by a company named WIC News Limited (Company number 10631553) from Kemp House, 160 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. It has no land or mobile phone number in its website.
Currently, it is run by a Croatian national named Dragan Perkanovic (born on June 1988), who was appointed on October 1, 2018, and by profession, he is not a journalist. Instead, he is a consultant.
Earlier, WIC News was founded with Parker Benjamin, a British national and online retailer, who was appointed on February 21, 2017 and resigned on February 19, 2018.
According to information, Benjamin Parker is also director of Medium Raw Limited, Wellbeing Limited, Roof Building Renovate Limited, Concord Close Management Company Limited, Diamon Abodes Limited and Dolls House Centre Limited.
Similarly, another British national named Hill Samuel Christopher (not a journalist) was appointed as director of January 22, 2018 and had resigned on October 7, 2018.
WIC News Limited was incorporated on February 21, 2017. The application for incorporation was filed by Benjamin Parker. There is no other partner or shareholder in the company, proving it is a mere one-man-show.
Other sister concerns of WIC News Limited are:

According to credible sources, WIC News is a propaganda platform of Dominica’s Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit, which is operated by his agent in Britain that deals in dubious activities centering on illegal selling of citizenship as well as diplomatic passports to various individuals
Talking to this correspondent, a highly-placed source in the British intelligence said, they were already investigating the allegations of money laundering, drug trafficking, and connections of terrorists with Dominica’s Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit and his cronies in London.
On November 9, 2020, WIC News published a story filled with fabricated statements against Blitz editor Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury. In this story, WIC News wrote: “As Bangladeshi tabloid, Weekly Blitz’s editor-in-chief Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury continues to be hounded by the Caribbean island’s government and the national police, a former bureaucrat of India has said that the Indian Government and Bangladesh’s subsidiary vigilance agencies are keeping a strict watch on the activities of Choudhury related to international crime and sedition charges”.
It wrote: “Choudhary is administrating the mental attack on the people of several nations across the world with false and inappropriate information, so there is a bright possibility of his relations with terror outfits operating in different parts of the world, said an internal government source of India, throwing light on what he feels had led to a vicious attack on the freedom of the press and its credibility”.
The website further stated: “It is a pertinent note here that earlier Weekly Blitz had claimed several derogatory statements about many sensitive issues containing classified information and persuading left-wing supporters towards violent paths, which had led to the convictions of the editor and ultimately, refusal to the Choudhury’s Citizenship application in the Caribbean for failing in due diligence procedure”.
The same website earlier made the same false claim, quoting a foreign ministry source of Dominica stating Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury had applied for Dominica’s citizenship. In reality, it is an utter lie and most definitely a notorious propaganda of Roosevelt Skerrit and his cronies in London.
Quoting Indian intelligence
In the propaganda stuff, WIC News has quoted a “former bureaucrat” from India stating Mr. Choudhury is under the “radar” of Indian intelligence.
Trashing this ridiculous propaganda, an official at the Indian intelligence establishment said, “Where in the world they have such rubbish stories? I am sure, this story was cooked by the London agent of Roosevelt Skerrit and we already are investigating the involvement of a number of Indian nationals, who are directly involved in money-laundering and helping Indians in smuggling out hundreds of millions of dollars.”
The official further said, Indian and British authorities are currently investigating the role of CS Global Partners, the partner in Dominica’s citizenship and diplomatic passport scams.
Isn’t there any journalist in the Caribbean?
No one known as to why a so-called Caribbean news outlet is run in Britain by a Croatian national, when there are lots of well-known and respected journalists in the Caribbean, including Dominica. The only reason could be, WIC News is actually run by Roosevelt Skerrit’s passport and diplomatic visa selling agents in the United Kingdom.
Journalists in the Caribbean region should immediately voice against the dubious and criminal activities of Roosevelt Skerrit and his cronies. They also should investigate the case of WIC News and its so-called director Dragan Perkanovic.
