Ranchi: Vinay Tiwari, a famous lyricist of Khortha, honored by the Jharkhand government, and a resident of a remote village like Roam under Topchanchi block of Dhanbad district, will now face the audience on May 16 through Doordarshan Ranchi’s program Abua Jharkhand after Akashvani. Khortha will share his work experience in the current perspective of folklore, music and cinema and his thoughts on the journey of Khortha song-music and cinema till date and the possibilities of their development among the audience.
Famous lyricist of Khortha Vinay Tiwari has been active in the field of Khortha songs, music, literature and cinema for more than two decades. He has written many songs till now. Khortha language has been recognized at the national level. Many people have also done research on their achievements. Along with this, many songs and poems composed by him are included in the Khortha syllabus. Vinay Tiwari has also been honored with national and international awards including the Government of Jharkhand.
