Drunk passengers create ruckus on Indigo flight

New Delhi: Two drunk passengers on a Dubai-Mumbai IndiGo flight created a ruckus mid-flight despite several warnings from the crew. The pair verbally abused both crew members and fellow passengers, leading to their arrest and bail hearing.

Airline spokesperson said, “Two passengers traveling on flight 6E 1088 from Dubai to Mumbai were found to be in an inebriated condition despite several warnings from the crew. They verbally abused the crew and co-passengers.” ” The passengers were handed over to CISF security personnel for their unruly behaviour.

The local authorities lodged a complaint against the residents of Nalasopara in Palghar and Kolhapur at the nearest police station. He was later granted bail by a local court. According to officials, the two were returning to India after working in the Gulf for a year and were in a celebratory mood.

Trouble began when intoxicated passengers demanded more alcohol and abused those who objected to their behavior. The crew intervened but he continued to be rude. Several similar incidents of unruly passenger behavior have been reported in recent months. A man was arrested for smoking in the toilet on a London-Mumbai flight.
