Something extremely strange, disturbing and dangerous has been happening on social media platform Facebook, where dubious individual is openly proclaiming as “Founder & Creative Director of Amazon Prime Bangladesh”, while there is no existence of any office of Amazon Prime, an internationally reputed OTT platform in Bangladesh.

Raino Aryan Khan, alias Mir Asaduzzaman Aryan  in his Facebook profile also proclaims to be a film director, writer, editor, graphics designer at Indian film industry; a former student at NFDC India; former System Engineer at SATV (a satellite TV channel in Bangladesh); Former IT assistant at Desh TV (a satellite TV channel in Bangladesh); student of Rifles Public School & College (RPSC); and student of the College of Development Alternative (CODA). He also claims to have obtained Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) degree from the Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) University of Liberal Arts (ULAB); and INFORMATION SYSTEM ANALYST (IT ANALYST) at Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI), DGFI Headquarters, Dhaka Cantonment, Bangladesh.

In the Facebook profile, Raino Aryan Khan claims to be hailing from Sitakunda, Chittagong, Bangladesh and currently living in Navi Mumbai (New Mumbai), India.

Information provided on the Facebook ID of Raino Aryan Khan

Raino Aryan Khan, is believed to be the man behind a false claim of being recruited by Amazon Prime Bangladesh, which has been recently claimed by an individual named Zannatul Elham Maaya, which is believed to be a fake ID.

It is a matter of grave concern that an individual has been openly proclaiming as the Information System Analyst (IT Analyst) at the Directorate of Forces Intelligence (DGFI), while he claims to be residing in Mumbai in India.

In the recent days, a number of dubious individuals have been falsely claiming to be working with the Directorate of Forces Intelligence (DGFI), while some of them even are using forged identity cards. Such practices gave scope to several anti-Bangladesh and anti-DGFI propaganda portals such as Netra News in spreading lies about DGFI, Bangladesh Armed Forces and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina clearly with the ulterior agenda of tarnishing the image of Bangladesh. Now, the latest case of Raino Aryan Khan would surely ring the alarm as he has been openly proclaiming as the Information System Analyst (IT Analyst) at the Directorate of Forces Intelligence (DGFI) on social media platforms, while the matter missed the attention of the desks concerned of DGFI.

Although we are not sure if DGFI has truly hired Raino Aryan Khan alias Mir Asaduzzaman Arian, an individual living in Mumbai, India as their Information System Analyst (IT Analyst), we are sure about Aryan Khan’s claim as the “Founder & Creative Director” of Amazon Prime Bangladesh being totally false. We have also cross-checked with a number of sources in the Mumbai and Kolkata film industry in India and been confirmed that Raino Aryan Khan’s claim to be a “film director, writer, editor, graphics designer at Indian film industry” as outrageously baseless.

From his claim of being “Founder & Creative Director” of Amazon Prime Bangladesh, as well as the claim of being a “film director, writer, editor, graphics designer at Indian film industry” as totally false, this newspaper has serious doubt about Raino Aryan Khan’s open proclamation of being the Information System Analyst (IT Analyst) of the Directorate of Forces Intelligence (DGFI). Hopefully authorities concerned will immediately look into this serious matter and take stern action against Raino Aryan Khan if he is not affiliated with the Directorate of Forces Intelligence (DGFI).

At the same time, Amazon Inc as well as Amazon Prime Video authorities should take immediate measures against Raino Aryan Khan for falsely claiming as the “Founder & Creative Director” of Amazon Prime Bangladesh and for falsely publishing fake posts on social media using pseudonyms and claiming to have recruited by “Amazon Prime Bangladesh”, a non-existent entity in Bangladesh until filing of this report.
