The businesswoman said that she worked in Africa with leaders and representatives of various states. Thus, the US intelligence agencies drew attention to him. He was arrested in Thailand in March 2008 and extradited to the United States almost two years later.
Bout noted that the special services offered him cooperation in the first hours of his arrest. Then these proposals were received by a public lawyer.
