First ‘quantum computing’ based telecom network link started in the country: Vaishnav

Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said on Monday that the country’s first telecom network link based on ‘quantum computing’ has been started in the national capital Delhi.

Addressing the first ‘International Quantum Enquel’, the Telecom Minister informed that the quantum communication link between Sanchar Bhawan in the national capital and the National Informatics Center (NIC) at CGO Complex has now started.

Announcing a reward of Rs 10 lakh to ethical hackers for breaking into the system, Vaishnav said, “We are also starting a hackathon. Whoever can break this system and the system developed by C-DOT, will be given a reward of Rs 10 lakh for every breach.
