Following Hefazat-e-Islam leader Mamunul Haque’s secret sex rendezvous being exposed, the Islamist group has now openly denounced democracy and demanded “death penalty” of the members of Bangladesh Police for taking legal action on hundreds of its members and activists who took part in countrywide anarchism, vandalism and terrorist activities in the name of opposing Bangladesh visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Meanwhile, Hefazat-e-Islam has called for a “protest meeting” in Munshiganj district, which will be attended by Mamunul Haque and few other leaders of this outfit, including notorious leaders of anti-Ahmadi group named Khatmey Nabuwat Sangrakkhan Committee (Khatmey Nabuwat Proservation Commission). It is anticipated, with Hefazat’s active support, atrocities on Ahmadiyya Muslims may re-emerge through Bangladesh by the members of Khatmey Nabuwat Sangrakkhan Committee.

In the poster of Munshiganj “protest meeting” of Hefazat-e-Islam, Mamunul Haque is portrayed as “Panic of Taguti [enemies of Allah] forces”. It may be mentioned here that, radical Islamic militancy groups such as Jamaatul Mujahedin Bangladesh (JMB), Harkat Ul Jihad (HuJi), Islamic State and Al Qaeda consider democracy as “rule of Satan”, and promote establishment of Caliphate.

With the latest episode of Hefazat-e-Islami openly proclaiming democracy as “Rule of Satan”, counterterrorism experts say – this group will onwards will begin anti-democracy activities, and may finally resort to armed militancy.

It may be mentioned here that, Hefazat-e-Islam has already established its cyber jihad unit with hundreds of madrassa students, and with logistic support from IT experts of Neo-JMB, Jamaat-e-Islami and Hizbut Tahrir.

Hefazat demands death penalty of the members of Bangladesh Police

In a statement, Hefazat-e-Islami has shown extreme audacity by demanding “death penalty” of the members of Bangladesh Police and law enforcement agencies, by branding them “killers”. This is for the first time, any organization in Bangladesh has publicly showed such extreme audacity. Hefazat’s demanding “death penalty” of the members of law enforcement agencies in Bangladesh has also openly challenged the rule of law of the country, which is tantamount to sedition and high treason.
