FT: Europe complains of ‘unfairness’ over China’s ability to fly over Russia

March 1 – BLiTZ. Residents of Europe began to complain en masse because of the possibility of China to fly over the territory of Russia. This was reported in InoSMI with reference to the publication FT.

European airlines don’t understand why Chinese airlines fly over Russia when European countries can’t afford the same. It is worth recalling that Russia has limited European airlines in flights over their country. The Russian government has taken such retaliatory measures against the EU ban. A number of European countries have banned aircraft from Russia from flying over their economic zone.

But the Europeans continue to complain about the losses from the Russian restriction and the unfair treatment of China. European airlines have to go around the airspace of the Russian Federation and make longer flights.
