Two days ago, one of the cheetahs brought from Namibia, Sasha, a female cheetah, died of a kidney infection.

Last year on September 17, on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, eight cheetahs brought from Namibia were released in the Kuno sanctuary. Recently 12 more cheetahs were brought to Kuno from South Africa. With the arrival of these cubs, the total number of cheetahs in Kuno has increased to 23.
