Gorakhpur : The district administration has not yet been able to find land for the proposed Veterinary College in the city. For the last 5 years, the search for land is going on continuously. Land was seen in many places in 5 years. But, for some reason all the proposals were cancelled. It has been proposed to be shifted from Azamgarh to Gorakhpur. For this, the government is ready to give Rs 600 crore. Land forms are also being sought for this. But till now the district administration is searching for the land.

Veterinary College shifted from Azamgarh to Gorakhpur

In the year 2018, the project was approved in Gorakhpur as a satellite center of Deen Dayal Veterinary University and Cow Research Center, Mathura and affiliated Veterinary College. Initially its cost was estimated at around Rs 425 crore, which has increased to Rs 600 crore. For Veterinary College, the district administration has to provide land in Sadar Tehsil area. The government had recently given information about the availability of the budget, a form of land had been asked in his name from the Animal Husbandry Department. But the department has not been named yet.

Will get land soon – District Magistrate Gorakhpur

District Magistrate Gorakhpur Krishna Karunesh told that Veterinary College is to be set up in Gorakhpur. For this, the district administration is looking for land, the land will be available soon. After which it will be named as Animal Husbandry Department. Let us tell you that the district administration has become very dirty regarding the land. First of all, land was searched for Veterinary College in four villages by the Gorakhpur district administration. But there was no land available for the farm house. After which the search for another land was started.

The thing could not be done even in the fertilizer premises

There was preparation to give land in the Fertilizer Complex of Gorakhpur, but there too things did not materialize due to some reason. After which the district administration saw the land in General Dumri No. 2. The process of getting the land in the name of Animal Husbandry Department had also started. But the Forest Department told him his land, after which the matter got stuck. Once again the search for land was started by the district administration.

This time land was seen in Tal Kandla in Khorabar area. Where due to the low area, the arrangement of soil has also been planned. But after a few days it was found that the land in this area was also cancelled. At present, the district administration has not got the land for the proposed Veterinary College in Gorakhpur. He is still looking for land.
