A reward of Rs 25,000 was declared on Shahi. The team of Shahpur police station and crime branch were conducting raids in Gorakhpur and Deoria districts for arresting the mafia since 2 days. The court has issued a non-bailable warrant against Mafia Ajit Shahi. There are 33 cases registered against him in different police stations. Criminal mafia is declared in the police record.
Name out of list of top 10 mafia
On the basis that no case was registered against Ajit Shahi in the last 6 years, the Gorakhpur police had excluded his name from the list of top 10 mafia. On May 12, an active search for him began after he threatened the bank employees for appointment in the Mechanical Department Primary Co-operative Bank Limited of North Eastern Railway. Mafia’s hold is also told in politics and police. A week ago there was a Manglik program at Ajit Shahi’s house. In this, he also took photographs with the guests. Bounty 50,000 recommended to IG

Police laid a trap on Wednesday, surrender on Thursday

Ajit Shahi lives in Gorakhpur with his family in the Housing Development Colony at Betiahata in Cantt police station area.
