On International Women’s Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday lauded the role of women in India’s development and said that his government will continue to work for women’s empowerment.
In a tweet, PM Modi expressed respect for the achievements of women power on International Women’s Day. “We appreciate the role of women in India’s progress,” he said.
Using #NariShakti for New India on Twitter, she said, “Our government will continue to work towards furthering women empowerment.”
The Prime Minister also shared on Twitter a compilation of women whose life journeys he discussed in ‘Mann Ki Baat’.
