The Education Department of Bihar has given a strict warning to the employed teachers posted in the local bodies active in protest against the appointment rules of school teachers. Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, Deepak Kumar Singh has made it clear on Tuesday that strict disciplinary action will be taken against them if any employed teacher or other government employee participates in any kind of protest and other anti-government programs in protest against the rules. In this context, Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department Singh has asked all the District Education Officers and all the Regional Deputy Directors of Education to ensure action by writing an official letter in this context. He has written in his official letter that such information has been received that there will be a sit-in demonstration on behalf of the teachers of the local body currently working in protest against the new appointment rules. The Education Department has taken this strict step considering this exercise of employed teachers as highly objectionable.

The teacher’s union had said about picketing

In fact, a section of employed teachers wants many concessions in the context of the new rules. In this context, teacher MLC Jeevan Kumar had said in the past that he will fight from the road to the house for the demand of teachers. On the other hand, Shiv Vilas, General Secretary of Bihar Higher Secondary Teachers Association, had said that if the government does not withdraw the matter of examination from BPSC and by amending the rules, the government will not consider the demand of unconditional status of state employees, plus two teachers, then 20 to 31 There will be a dharna at the district headquarters till May and a great movement in June.
