Ara. A youth was beaten to death in a family dispute in Bhojpur district. His uncle and aunt have been accused of murder. The young man was murdered a day before his marriage. After the murder of the young man, the happiness of marriage in the house turned into mourning. Women singing the song of Shagun started crying out loud. There is hue and cry everywhere in the wedding house. The incident is of Sankat Mochan locality located in Nawada police station area of Bhojpur.

In relation to the incident, it is told that the marriage of Manish Kumar, teacher son of retired inspector Gopal Ji Singh, a resident of Sankat Mochan Mohalla, was fixed in Pachma village of Piro police station area. The date of marriage was fixed on Monday, the preparations for marriage were going on loudly in the house. Meanwhile, just a day before the marriage, on Sunday, his Gotiya made a big scandal. Uncle-aunt and her son attacked Manish with a loge rod even before he could become the bridegroom over a land dispute and beat him half-dead.

There was uproar in the family after this incident. In a hurry, the family members reached Sadar Hospital with Manish. From there the doctors referred him to PMCH for better treatment. Before the family could reach Patna with Manish, he died midway. The death of the groom, just a day before the wedding, has created hue and cry not only in Sankat Mochan locality of Nawada but also in Pachma village of Piro. As soon as the information about the incident was received, all the accused fled from the locality. The police reached the spot and started raids to arrest the accused.
