IIT-Delhi in top 50 institutes for engineering studies

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)-Delhi has made it to the list of top 50 institutes in the world for engineering studies. This ranking was released on Wednesday by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).

QS has released the list of world’s top universities and institutes 2023 based on curriculum. 44 courses in various disciplines offered by Indian higher educational institutions have been included in the list of top 100 courses globally.

Last year 35 courses were included in this list. Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) is a British company specializing in the analysis of higher education institutions around the world. The ranking provides an independent comparative analysis of student performance across 1,594 universities around the world.

QS looked at a total of 66 Indian universities for its list this time. IIT-Bombay has secured 92nd position in the world for teaching Mathematics course.

IIT-Kanpur has secured 87th rank for electrical-electronic engineering and 96th rank for computer science information systems course.
