Bihar bridge Project: Bridges will be built on three rivers in Bihar at a cost of more than 100 crores. These bridges will be built on Darbhashan river, Barua river and Odhani river, which will facilitate the Kanwariyas while going to Deoghar. Permission has been received from the headquarters to prepare these bridges. Soon the DPR will also be finalized. Soon the agency will also be selected for the construction of the high-level bridge.
This bridge will be built on Kanwariya path
Approval has been given for construction of high level RCC bridge over Barua river between Kanwaria road Sultanganj-Dumma and Odhani river of Bhagalpur-Amarpur-Banka SH-25. In the light of the instructions of the Headquarters, Bridge Construction Corporation Work Division, Bhagalpur has not only prepared the Detail Project Report (DPR) of Odhani river, but has also sent it for approval.
Kanwariyas will get convenience in crossing Barua river
At the same time, the Detail Project Report (DPR) of Barua river has also been sent for approval. When the bridge is built on the Barua river, there will be no difficulty in crossing the rivers. There is a bridge in both these rivers, but it has become very dilapidated. Passing through it is almost closed. People have to pass under the bridge.

About Rs 86 crore will be spent on the construction of the bridge on the Barua and Odhani rivers. This includes Rs 39 crore on Barua river and Rs 47 crore on Odhani river. The bridge at both the places will be constructed with the money of the state government. Pul Nirman Nigam has got the DPR prepared from the listed consultant agency.
A bridge will also be built on the Darbhashan river of Kanwariyan Path from 14.26 crores
The Kanwariya path will also be built on the Darbhshan river at the 75.85 km of the Sultanganj-Deoghar State Highway 22. Its construction will also be done through Bridge Construction Corporation Work Division, Bhagalpur Work Agency. The bridge will be six meters wide and 18 meters long. About 14.26 crores will be spent on this. If everything goes well, then the bridge will start being built from June. This scheme was approved in January 2021 by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, New Delhi. It is on SH 22 going from Tarapur in Munger to Deoghar via Kathpulwa bridge.

High level RCC bridge will be built on Odhani and Barua rivers. DPR for one bridge has been sent for approval, for the other DPR has been received from the consultant agency. It will be sent to the headquarters in the next few days. With the approval of the DPR, the process of agency selection will start and then the construction will be done.
