In Pattaya, police detained a serial thief who robbed lonely Russian tourists

March 1 – BLiTZ. Police in the Thai city of Pattaya have detained a serial thief who robbed lonely travelers from Russia. This publication reports The Pattaya News.

It is noted that the police found the attacker on a tip from a Russian tourist. On February 23, 59-year-old Natalya Vinokut became the victim of a robbery. The woman was walking along one of the districts of Pattaya, when at one moment an unknown man drove up to her on a motorcycle, snatched the phone from her hands and disappeared.

After reviewing CCTV cameras, police officers found and detained 54-year-old native of Chonburi province, Rungroja Sangkasinsu. According to media reports, the man repeatedly committed illegal acts and was arrested more than 15 times. The main target of the offender were single women.

It is known that now the man is in custody, awaiting trial.
