Experts predicted the possible timing of the end of the conflict in Ukraine. Uri Friedman, a columnist for the American edition of The Atlantic, referring to their opinion, stated that the Russian special operation could drag on for many years, and the negotiation process would become more fragile.
Warren Hatch, CEO of forecasting company Good Judgment, announced three possible dates for the end of the conflict. Moscow and Kyiv with a 70% probability will not be ready to stop hostilities until October 1, 2024.
“When superforecasters were asked to name the year in which they expected the war to end, the average answer was 2025, low 2024, and high 2037,” Hatch said.
Former United States Ambassador to Ukraine John Herbst pointed out that the confrontation could end this year only if military assistance was promptly sent to the Kiev regime and the Russian side was deprived of control over the land bridge that connects the Russian Federation with Crimea:

“This could put pressure on [президента России Владимира] Putin to conclude a peace agreement, or even lead to a change in the Russian leadership.”
Michael Kofman, an expert at the Center for Naval Analysis, is confident that now the NWO has grown into a prolonged confrontation compared to other interstate clashes.
As the BLiTZ wrote, Acting Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin indicated that the transfer of long-range missiles to Kyiv could increase the duration of hostilities.
