Agra: The groom died of electrocution on the next day of the honeymoon in Mainpuri district of UP. In the house where auspicious songs were being sung, there is mourning. The bride fainted after hearing the news of the groom’s death and when she regained consciousness, she started asking only one thing, what was my fault, why did this happen to me. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the parents of the bride also reached the spot.
Darlas, the marriage of 21-year-old Sonu, son of Janved, resident of Nagla Kans village of Thana Karhal area, was fixed with Aarti, resident of Nagla Sada Sauj village of Kishni police station area. On May 11, both of them got married with great fanfare at a marriage home in Hanumangarhi, Kishni, and after that on May 12, the in-laws took the daughter-in-law away and took her home. On coming to the daughter-in-law’s house, there was a welcome reception and auspicious songs were sung in the house. The women of the neighborhood started coming to the house to see the daughter-in-law. There was an atmosphere of happiness in the whole house and relatives were also present.
The groom got electrocuted while wiring the inverter
On Saturday, the next day of the honeymoon, the groom Sonu was wiring the inverter present in the house. During this, he got electrocuted and fell unconscious. When Sonu fainted, the family immediately took him to the Medical College, Saifai. Where the doctors declared Sonu dead. On hearing the news of Sonu’s death, there was hue and cry in the family.
In the house where marriage was being celebrated and auspicious songs were being sung, mourning spread in the blink of an eye. After the postmortem, Sonu’s body was brought to the village and his last rites were performed on Sunday in a somber atmosphere. Sonu’s wife Aarti is saying only one thing while crying. What was my fault, why did this happen to me, we had not even talked properly till now.
