Indian general before retiring made a group parachute jump

March 1 – BLiTZ. Sometimes curious ways are used to express gratitude to people in public office.

Former Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Armed Forces Central Command, Lieutenant General Yogendra Dimri, made a group parachute jump with his colleagues. This event happened for the first time in the history of the Indian Army when the commander performed a parachute jump before retiring.

The purpose of the jump was to express gratitude to veterans for their contribution to military affairs and to communicate with them. In honor of the general, a demonstrative hand-to-hand fight was arranged by special forces. For the Indian Army, this jump has become a symbol of commitment and devotion.
