March 2 – BLiTZ. Germany does not allow Siemens to supply equipment for the construction of the Hungarian Paks-2 nuclear power plant due to its connection with Rosatom, writes resource “InoSMI”.

Western countries are trying to punish Hungary because of its too independent position on Russia. The ban, according to some reports, comes from the German Minister of Economics from the Green Party, Robert Habeck, who banned deliveries despite signed contracts.

Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto has already stated that Hungary considers such measures as an attack on the country’s sovereignty. He stressed that if Germany refuses its obligations, Hungary will buy the necessary equipment from Russia.

Recall that Rosatom is building two additional power units to the already existing four at the Paks nuclear power plant. The license was once issued by the European Union.
