Jharkhand government will bear the cost of coaching of children, CM Hemant Soren said after giving appointment letters to teachers

Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren on Friday handed over appointment letters to newly appointed 3469 teachers in high schools. For the first time in five years, such a large number of teachers were appointed in the state. A grand program was organized at Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium in Khelgaon to give appointment letters to the teachers. Teachers from all over the state were called to Ranchi for distribution of appointment letters.

CM gave appointment letters to 24 teachers with his own hands

Out of the newly appointed 3469 high school teachers, the CM gave appointment letters to 24 with his own hands. Apart from CM, Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh, Minister Alamgir Alam, Minister Satyanand Bhokta, Secretary to Chief Minister Vinay Choubey, K Ravikumar, Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy, SSP Kishore Kaushal were also present in the programme. Everyone addressed the gathering and congratulated the newly appointed teachers.

The state government will also bear the cost of coaching of children.

During this, CM Hemant Soren also congratulated all the teachers and said that there will be no shortage of teachers in the high schools of the state. Children will be able to get quality education. The CM appealed to all the newly appointed teachers to discharge their responsibilities honestly. The CM also said that the state government will bear the cost of the coaching of those children who do coaching for their studies.

Appointment of teachers in 26 subjects

According to the information, teachers have been appointed in total 26 subjects. Maximum 280 teachers were appointed in Ranchi district across the state. Whereas, the minimum number of 67 teachers were appointed in Latehar. Significantly, almost half of the posts of teachers in the high schools of the state were vacant. 25199 posts of teachers have been created in high school. Of these, more than 11 thousand posts are vacant. Most of the high schools in the state do not have teachers for all subjects.

Now 6 thousand more teachers will be appointed

Let us inform that this appointment process started in 2016 in the Raghuvar government. Under which 17,572 high school teachers are to be appointed. This appointment process got complicated 7 times in 7 years. Out of these, about 11 thousand teachers have been appointed. Now preparations are on to appoint about 6 thousand more teachers in June.
