Jharkhand Crime News: Somra Munda killed his pregnant girlfriend in Palkot area of Gumla district. The deceased was four months pregnant. Taking quick action, the Palkot police is interrogating the accused Somra in custody. Police sent the dead body to Gumla Sadar Hospital for postmortem, but the deceased is pregnant. For this reason, the post-mortem of the dead body was not done on Friday. The post-mortem of the dead body will be done by a three-member medical team on Saturday. Right now the Palkot police is not saying anything openly in this matter.

The brother of the deceased told that his sister’s love affair was with Somra Munda of the village itself. His sister was four months pregnant. When the relatives came to know about this, they took her to her lover Somra Munda’s house and handed her over. Somra’s relatives were ready to adopt her as their daughter-in-law. But Somra left the village and fled to Punjab. After this, his sister started living in her parents’ house. Here, Somra Munda returned from Punjab on Thursday. He came home late at night and took his girlfriend with him. After this, in the morning, his dead body was found crushed with stones at some distance from the village.

The sister of the deceased told that Somra came to our house at midnight and threw a piece of stone in the house. Hearing the sound, my sister woke up and left the house and went with him. After this, on Friday, I came to know that my sister had been murdered.
