Local people told that after reaching the village, dozens of armed Naxalites first took the villagers to a safe place and then blew up a mobile tower located near Patung School. However, according to the villagers, the mobile tower has not suffered much damage.

But its DG set and other equipment have been completely damaged. This tower was installed 5-6 months ago with the aim of providing communication facilities to the villagers. But the communication facility could not be started yet. While talking to the district bureau in-charge of Sasarat News, the Superintendent of Police confirmed the incident and said that the matter is being investigated. Things will become clear only after investigation.

After this, the police team reached the spot and investigated. Significantly, on May 15, the Naxalites had announced a bandh in 5 states including Jharkhand. This incident was carried out on the second day of Jharkhand bandh. Let us tell you that Patung and Boroi villages are completely Naxal affected. Police and Naxalites have had encounters many times in the forest of this area in the past.
