Land For Job Scam: CBI interrogates RJD MLA for 11 hours, files supplementary FIR in court

On Tuesday, the CBI team raided the residence of RJD MLA Kiran Devi and her husband former MLA Arun Yadav from Sandesh assembly seat in Bhojpur district. An eight-member CBI team reached the residence at seven in the morning and started questioning both the husband and wife in the Land for Job case. The officers interrogated for about 11 hours. During this time no one was allowed to enter inside. Other officers were stationed outside the gate along with the CRPF.

RJD supporters were crowded on the spot

During the interrogation, BDO Mukesh Kumar, CO Chandrashekhar also reached there along with the police. Here, RJD workers and supporters had also reached there. The CBI officers who came out after questioning only told that there was an inquiry in the land for job case. After this, sitting in the car, left for Patna.

BJP trying to create pressure: Arun Yadav

After the raid, former MLA Arun Yadav said that people who are close to Lalu ji would be troubled by him. Lalu ji’s soldiers are with us, go to the camp. He alleged that the BJP is trying to create pressure regarding the 2024 elections.

CBI has registered supplementary FIR

According to CBI sources, a few days back, the CBI had registered a supplementary FIR in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court in the matter of land in exchange for a job in the Railways. In this FIR, along with Rajya Sabha member Premchand Gupta, who is very close to Lalu, the name of RJD MLA Kiran Devi has also been included. Premchand Gupta and Kiran Devi are alleged to have helped Lalu Prasad and his family in the land case in lieu of railway jobs. After getting solid information in this matter, on the basis of the FIR, the CBI raided Kiran Devi’s official residence in Patna and Bhojpur Agian’s residence together on Monday morning.

Raid in Ara, Patna and Gurugram

Let us tell you that in the matter of job in exchange of land in the railway, the CBI raided two close relatives of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad on Tuesday. This action has been taken simultaneously at nine different places including Patna, Bhojpur, Delhi and Gurugram in the case of job in exchange of land in Railways. This action of CBI was going on till the news was written. Arun Yadav’s involvement has also been in the illegal business of sand. The CBI team also reached Agiaon in Arrah and the MLA’s residence in Patna and made inquiries.
