Satnam Singh Sandhu presented a book ‘Heartfelt Legacy to the Faith’ based on the work done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the Sikh community and his contribution. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for being progressive and secular.
Sandhu said people from different communities and religions have lived in India for centuries and all believe in communal harmony. In the last nine years, under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India has moved rapidly on the path of becoming a developed nation. Also became the fifth largest economy in the world. Like many other countries all the communities in India have full freedom. They are given all kinds of opportunities without any discrimination of caste, creed or religion. Bishop Philip James Huggins of the Anglican Church of Australia said he does not agree with the narrative being made against India that minorities are being targeted there.
Dr. Tariq Butt, a member of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community in Victoria, said the event was a great initiative. There is a platform to bring Hindu and Muslim community together. Butt, a native of Pakistan and now living in Australia, said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is doing the right thing by promoting harmony and peace and encouraging all communities to come together. Modi has that charisma where people are following him regardless of their religious leanings, it is good.
