After investigating this, the Lekhpal had to submit a report. Lekhpal went to inspect the damage. After this, Lekhpal Dharmendra Singh demanded bribe from farmer Daljeet in return for filing a report. He was demanding ten thousand rupees.

Anti corruption team action

Daljit Singh lodged a complaint with the Anti Corruption Bureau. Vigilance after investigating the veracity of the complaint registered a case against Lekhpal. A team was formed by Anti-Corruption to arrest them red-handed. Inspector Praveen Sayal, Head Constable Pawan Kumar, Imran, Pramod Verma and Amit were included in this team.

Even before a lekhpal was caught

The anti-corruption team caught Lekhpal Dharmendra Singh red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs 10,000 on Wednesday afternoon. An FIR has also been lodged at Bhojipura police station on behalf of the anti-corruption team. After registering the FIR, the police has started action against the accused Lekhpal. Even before this, an accountant was caught red-handed by the anti-corruption team. After this the accused was sent to jail.
