Malaysian LimkokWing University hosting militants and racists

One of the many Malaysian universities which is getting hundreds of foreign students from mostly Asian and African nations, including Bangladesh is facing allegations of hosting radical Islamic militants, lone wolves, radicalized Muslims and racists. Only in August 2017, dozens of students of this university were arrested by the law enforcement agencies in an anti-militancy drive. Headed by the Special Branch’s counter terrorism unit (CTU), the joint-operation started continued for almost nine hours netting the foreigners who are from 32 countries and comprised of 281 men and nine women.

Counter Terrorism Unit’s director Datuk Ayob Khan told reporters, the students were detained from the LimkokWing University, Multimedia University, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Uniersiti Malaysia Pahang and the Global College. Two-third of the detained foreign students are from Yemen, Pakistan, Syria, Bangladesh, India and Nepal.

Case 1

In January 2015, a 27-year-old former student of LimkokWing (Lim Kok Wing) University, who was one of the two people arrested for suspected links to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), married one of its fighters over Skype.

“We believe that she was first attracted to ISIS after watching its propaganda video on YouTube in November,” said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar.

“She then got to know the North African fighter and eventually married him. He managed to persuade her to join him in Syria”.

Sources revealed that the woman was a student of Graphic Design at Limkokwing University.

Case 2

According to media reports, students of Malaysia’s Lim Kok Wing University regularly collect fund for mega-terror outfit Hamas as well as other radical Islamic groups.

LimkokWing University abetting money laundering

Malaysia’s LimkokWing University is accused of abetting international money laundering by receiving payments from its students through non-banking channels. We already have obtained evidences, where students from Bangladesh have paid thousands of dollars to LimkokWing through non-banking channel. Sending money to any foreign country through non-banking channels is considered as a serious crime by laws of most of the countries in the world.

  1. Limkokwing University is so shady , literally some group have instagram page called LIMKOKWINGLEAKS exposing the university and its owner
