Mamata Banerjee connection behind anti-Modi protest in Dhaka

Streets of Dhaka city witnessed outrageous vandalism as a group of left-leaning anarchists began protesting the visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Indian premier arrived in Dhaka this morning on a two-day state visit to attend the two mega celebrations, marking the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Golden Jubilee celebration of Bangladesh’s independence.

According to media reports, hundreds of Islamists came on the street chanting anti-Modi and anti-India slogan and started setting fire on vehicles.

Anarchism on the streets of Dhaka started immediately after Friday’s juma prayers. According to credible sources, the protesters belong to several Islamist political parties and organizations as well as leftist groups.

According to eye witnesses, a large number of members of radical Islamist Hefazat-e-Islami came on the street chanting “Naraye Takbir, Allahu Akbar” slogan and started pelting stones targeting members of the law enforcement agencies.

Meanwhile, General Secretary of Awami League, Obaidul Quader said, those who are opposing the visit of the Indian Prime Minister are anti-liberation forces.

Seeking anonymity, a source told this correspondent that, West Bengal’s Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and several leaders of Trinamool Congress were giving instigation to their contacts in Bangladesh with suggestions of protesting the visit of Narendra Modi. They even allegedly had labelled the Indian Prime Minister as “enemy of the Bengali people”. Trinamool Congress has been running hate campaign against Bharatiya Janata Party through social media platforms and repeating its notorious call of “ousting non-Bengalis from West Bengal”.

Earlier, a prominent Muslim leader of Trinamool Congress has told a public gathering that Bengali Muslims in West Bengal can create “four Pakistans”, if they get united. There are allegations of Trinamool’s secret connection with Hizbul Mujahedin and other radical Islamic forces and separatist groups in India.

According to political observers in West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee and her party comrades may resort to vote rigging during tomorrow’s election to steal victory from the Bharatiya Janata Party. Trinamool leaders and funders and spreading large amount of money in buying votes.
