Many international organizations including UNICEF have shown interest in implementing Indian Jan Aushadhi Project Center

New Delhi, 18 April (Hindustan). During India’s G20 Presidency, Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya and representatives of G20 countries visited Indian Janaushadhi Project Center on Tuesday, the second day of the second meeting of the Health Group in Goa. UNICEF, WHO and other international organizations also visited the center and showed interest in implementing Indian Jan Aushadhi Project Center in their countries. Members of international organizations learned about the operation of drug centers.

On this occasion, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that cheap medicines are easily available to the middle class and poor people of the country through Jan Aushadhi Kendras. India has never compared health with commerce and India will always help those interested in implementing our plans.

Referring to the health facilities of Goa, he said that there are more than 201 Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centers (AB-HWCs), Jan Aushadhi Kendras. All these AB-HWCs are equipped with primary care services and facilities for screening of non-communicable diseases. They also have laboratory facilities, diagnostic facilities, facilities for minor procedures, comprehensive management and awareness activities.
