Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) near Kreminna in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) are experiencing an acute shortage of food and supplies, retired Lieutenant Colonel of the People’s Militia of the LPR Andrei Marochko said on March 3.
“Due to the heavy losses of equipment and personnel in the logistic support units of the armed formations of Ukraine, the schedule for the supply of provisions and other materiel to the Kremennaya region has ceased to be observed,” Marochko said. TASS.
According to him, the Ukrainian military began to run out of individual food rations, and new supplies are not expected in the near future. The Lieutenant Colonel of the People’s Militia of the LPR added that the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kremennaya area are also experiencing a lack of water.
Earlier, on February 28, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said that the fortifications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kremennaya region in the LPR had been stormed. According to him, as a result of clashes, nine militants of the Ukrainian army were liquidated, one surrendered. The head of Chechnya noted that the list of Ukrainian prisoners of war is replenished daily.
