Mdinaradze said that the bill on foreign agents in Georgia could harm the health of young people

Mamka Mdinaradze, chairman of the Georgian Dream faction, said the authorities had withdrawn the draft law on foreign agents “On Transparency of Foreign Influence” because of the risk to the health of young people. This is reported by Gazeta.Ru with reference to the Imedi TV channel.

“There were risks that the life and health of one young person would be in danger, and we made this decision because we always do this,” Mdinaradze said.

He also noted that part of the Georgian society considered that this was a Russian law, however, as Mdinaradze emphasized, the bill was directly translated from the American one.
